How to Drink, Eat and Stay Healthy

I don’t experience about you, but I must admit that I love great food. Anyway, since I’m becoming elder my craving for a yummy meal is running into a raising desire for more lifelong, healthier life. Living eternally perhaps too much to expect, but I will surely love to live a while with the best potential quality of life. That among additional things implies eating healthier; And that, I’m scared implies creating some modifications to my eating habits.

We all realize that there is food everywhere and it perhaps a little challenge to ignore the traps unless you get a strategy. In fact, it’s more of a program than a strategy and here are some steps that I take:

  • “Portion manage, portion manage, portion manage”, I restate this to myself whenever I seat to eat.
  • If I serve myself I consume half of what I use to consume, so that I can get back for seconds, I simply never do.
  • If I’m a guest, I softly allow the hosts realize that I choose smaller portions. I even get a healthy snack before going to control my appetite (no I don’t say to the host).
  • At supper, I concentrate on consuming more of the healthier foods, like clear soups, salads, etc. Passing over dessert is a great thing, but if there is a grape and cheese, get the grapes.
  • At a supper, I focus on the conversation to get my head away from the food. Not only it is great for your health, but it also creates you a much more fascinating guest and you might discover a raise in the number of invitations you receive.
  • Whenever I get shopping, and I heart shopping, I ignore stores and stand that hand out food samples.
  • If I go outside for lunch, or supper for that matter, I choose a restaurant instead of a fast food place, since a restaurant frequently has a healthier food choice.

Well, I can continue, but you receive the essence. Your health lives in your hands, you are managing. Many people state that they should eliminate some pounds, but in most cases it is probably more than just some much more. Obviously eating habits are not the only things influencing someone’s health. We all find out how significant working out is, but that’s a subject for additional time to your health.

How To Find Your Life Purpose Now

Happily fulfilling one’s life purpose brings immense happiness, which in turn leads to robust health and physical wellbeing.

Does your life’s purpose seem to be eluding you? Not sure what your “Life Purpose” is? Well, you have just found it!

You may be saying to yourself right now: “Yeah, right! How can that be? I’ve been searching for my life purpose all this time and here’s this crazy loony telling me I just found it!”–Fair enough. Let me explain.

The thing about our life’s purpose is that we tend to overcomplicate it. We think that if it is not mystical and amazing, it can’t possibly be it. However, I’d like to pose a question to you. What do you think is the purpose of your life?

If we ‘zero base’ it, which simply means make it very plain and simple-deep down inside, you feel happiest when you are living in unison with the natural laws of the universe (pure physics, mind you). The natural laws, one of which is the law of service illustrates the point well. The grand aim for us in this life is spiritual progression (even if at first we don’t recognize it).

Dieters and Diabetics No Longer Need to Swim Against the Current

Most of us have heard about the benefits of eating certain kinds of seaweed. But recently, scientists have discovered a type of carotenoid called Fucoxanthin that is being haled as the new miracle food. It’s an antioxidant that experts believe promotes weight loss, and can even help to treat diabetes and cancer.

Fucoxanthin is found in wakame and hijiki, two kinds of brown seaweed, as well as some forms of red and green seaweed. This is the same seaweed that consumers find wrapped around most of their sushi rolls. At one billion years old, wakame is one of the oldest types of ocean plants ever discovered that still exist today. Asians have been consuming it for thousands of years and visibly benefit from it.

Some animal testing in labs has determined that Fucoxanthin will help treat diabetes in the near future. The supplement can diminish insulin and blood glucose levels by promoting the development of DHA in the body. DHA, otherwise known as omega-3, has proven to decrease bad cholesterol, balance insulin production and improve metabolism.

The improvement of triglycerides, and thus metabolism, instigated studies at the Hokkaido University in Sapporo, Japan to find out if Fucoxanthin can be used as aweight loss tool. It turns out that Fucoxanthin promotes fat burning by escalating the use of thermogenin. This stimulates a protein called UCP1, which turns energy to heat by oxidizing body fat.
